The area surrounding the hospital is not the greatest, but improving. It seems like most residents live some distance from the hospital. Also, peds is apparently not that strong here.

I loved Brigham. The program is very strong and the residents were great. In a great city and area of Boston.

- Program Advantages:
1:1 teaching, numerous perks including facilities, they provide you a laptop and personal lead, Dan Ryan Healthy Living Center.
- Program Disadvantages:
The city is not for everyone. They do not have a peds fellowship.

Unbelievable resources. All fellowships available. Nice perks - 4 weeks vacation, on site child care, good book fund stipend, parking, lead, etc.
- Program Disadvantages:
St. Louis is not for everyone.

The program is very strong, and the people were all very laid back but serious about their jobs.
- Program Advantages:
Variety of pathology at several different hospitals. All fellowships available. PD seems very resident-friendly. Also seem interested in taking residents from all parts of the country.
- Program Disadvantages:
You have to travel to multiple locations without parking provided at all of them.

Wisconsin
