Liked the PD alot, heavy IR volume, good interviewee to position ratio, Yale lectures, big name attendings who will help you for fellowship time, pay you extra for weekend call

Well organized, best PD i have met, he has been doing it for 15 years!!! no interviewees interviewed w PD, which I thought was odd
- Program Advantages:
Free housing!!!, night hawk CT after 10pm, residents seem all happy and close, moonlighting encouraged, big institution attendings, Yale out rotations
- Program Disadvantages:
really small program (2/year) means alot of call, small hospital, minimal volume

Best interview day I had; 11:00 to 2:30, with great intro, great food, interesting Peds lecture, 4 well organized interviews and a great tour
- Program Advantages:
WOW!!!, gut feeling was happiness!!! Great equipment, NeuroIR attendings, Cardiac imaging, very large MRI volume, large staff of attendings, will train you to be efficinet and well prepared for private practice, separate Peds hospital, ALOT of trauma and
- Program Disadvantages:
IR fellowships means less exposure for residents, not much academics

Night hawk for CT...YES!!!, Hospital is phenomenal, conferences seemed interesting, technology and volume both more than adequate,

no trauma, new PD and high attendiong turnover, residents seemed to be unhappy

Worst interview experience ever!! Poorly organized, no lunch, no lectures, PD was late and just a bit out there.
- Program Advantages:
Columbia lectures at 7:30 am qDaily, trauma center, consortium program which means you get out of Harlem Hospital for a few months every year
- Program Disadvantages:
One 1-slice CTscanner, No PetCT, Old machines, high attending turnover

The residents have a Wii in their call room, Trauma center, It is in NY, New chairman seems committed to improvement, get cardiac imaging at North Shore,

Poor board pass rate, One 1slice CT scanner, No PET/CT, my gut feeling was 4 years of misery
